ON DECK:

BREZZA has been outfitted for Bluewater adventures: She has a full canvas and isinglass enclosure, built in grey, for her spacious cockpit, main sail with lazy jacks and a stack-pack on her boom, head sail with roller furling and a down-wind code zero (currently stored in her dedicated sail bag, below deck, in the port settee locker just aft of the Navigation Station).

Her cockpit is incredibly spacious: with dual helms, a large, centerline table with drop-leaf extensions to each side and two insulated and draining compartments within. Mounted to the rear face of her cockpit table is a large, 12in B&G chart plotter. This Beneteau Oceanis 41 will absolutely spoil you with this spacious cockpit. Her two seats are separated by a massive drop-leaf table with insulated and draining compartments and removable cockpit light in the forward section.

 

The vessel’s throttle control is at her port helm, with her two shore power inlets (one for her onboard AC inlet, and the 2nd to power her HVAC system), Super Wind, stop and run control switch, Yanmar RPM dial, start, stop, power switch and hour meter, B&G auto pilot controls, Quick CHC1202M anchor windlass/ Chain Counter with power, up and down controls, Quick Bow Thruster control and B&G multifunction/ page screen. Above each helm is a Ritchie binnacle and a set of cup holders. This twin helm layout allows for outboard steering and clear sight-lines forward. The German mainsheet system - running to her aft most winches - allows the driver to trim comfortable from the helm.

 

To starboard is a fresh water wash-down shower with hot and cold mixing tap, direct fresh water in and out connections and manual, whale diaphragm/ emergency bilge pump. Three switches are mounted to this starboard helm, two for her deck lights, lights mounted to the underside of her dodger arch and the third for controlling the hydraulic arm for her flip-down swim platform. Aft of each helm station is a deep storage locker with access to additional systems space. Centerline is a large deck hatch, below which is her diesel tank fill, primary water tank fill, LPG tank storage (currently containing a single tank) and access to the vessel’s emergency steering gear. 

Underfoot in her cockpit, and atop her settee seating is natural teak decking. BREZZA is equipped with plush, light grey, cockpit cushions. This cockpit layout affords your guests a comfortable underway experience and those responsible for the vessel’s operation, fantastic access to her halyards, sheets and all associated sail controls. All lines run aft, to her cockpit. The starboard, cabin top winch is powered, for mechanized ease. Line storage bags are located to either side of her companionway.

There are breaks within both sides of her lifelines to afford folks boarding or disembarking flexibility for both port and starboard. Currently on her foredeck, is her Zodiac inflatable dinghy.  At her foremost point is a double anchor roller, large anchor locker, roller furling headsail (for her 104% overlapping genoa) and electrical anchor windlass. BREZZA is equipped with a bow thruster as well - with remote controls and push button controls at her port helm. Aloft is a double spreader mast, equipped with radar dome. The mooring cleats are satisfyingly beefy and will hold a one inch line without any struggle. The bow pulpit is open. 

BELOW DECK:

As you proceed down her companionway, BREZZA opens up to a spacious and open Galley, Salon and Navigation Station. 

To port is her L-shaped Galley; she’s equipped with a large single basin, stainless steel sink, with hot and cold mixing tap and cutting board insert for increased working counter space, two burner LPG stove top with oven below, refrigerator with dual access from a louvered counter hatch and locking cabinet door below in her cabinetry, ample storage outboard, behind sliding, frosted plexiglass enclosure panels and in flip-down overhead cabinetry and below in a bank of drawers, and a dedicated, self-opening rubbish receptacle. 

Aft of her galley is her port, aft cabin; inside of which are the vessel’s battery switches and inverter changer. Both aft cabins consist of a double berth/ mattress, large, hull-side window, overhead operating port with integrated blackout curtain and bug screen and operating port which opens her cockpit - providing ample natural light and ventilation. Each window/ port has a dedicated curtain to assist with UV/ heat reduction. Towards centerline, a series of hatches reveal additional access to her engine compartment. There are two reading lights and overhead lighting integrated into her head liner panels. The hanging locker within this port aft cabin, contains the inverter/ charger and currently stores a small shop vacuum and a few of her Seller’s personal items.

Forward of her galley is a settee with storage below. Above this settee and to outboard is the vessel’s primary electrical control panel. This control center consists of her 12v and AC breakers, and her inverter/ charger control screen. Moving forward, is her Navigation Station, with flip up storage drawer, dedicated reading lamp, HVAC control, VHF and sound system head control unit. This Navigation Station area is comprised of a small, forward-facing desk in the saloon, just aft of her V-Berth/ master stateroom bulkhead. This space provides a perfect place for cruising guides, handheld radios, ship’s keys and so forth.

To starboard is a U-shaped settee and a large drop-leaf table that connects the two sides of the boat for dining. And true to form for a French boat: there are three bottle storage areas aboard, two of which are housed in this table. Her open salon is brimming with natural light, plenty of operational ports, in her cabin top and overhead, for natural lights and ventilation. This centerline dining table, flips up to starboard, providing space for 6 plus persons to enjoy her below deck accommodations. The settee storage in this U-shaped seating section contains bins of extra/ spare engine and system parts, the vessel’s HVAC ducting and machinery and the vessel’s emergency equipment. Outboard is additional open storage space.

Her foremost V-Berth cabin is concealed behind two, privacy doors, and consists of a large, center island queen, double berth, two hanging lockers, four reading lights, a 12V outlet at the head of the berth, to port, and overhead lighting controls for those lights integrated into the vessel’s headliner panels, two hull side windows with integrated privacy curtains and a large overhead hatch with integrated black out curtain and bug screen. Below this forward berth is the back end access to her bow thruster, those dedicated batteries and ample storage in a flip-down, hamper-style cabinetry storage.  

Directly to starboard of her companionway steps is the vessel’s single head. This large compartment has Jack and Jill/ dual-access from both her salon and starboard aft cabin. The head compartment is bifurcated with a folding plexiglass-glass door, providing a very desirable, separate shower stall, raw water, electric flush head, fresh water sink with hot and cold mixing tap and ample storage behind two flip-down cabinets to outboard. Her shower head is on a long flexible arm, that affords her user the flexibility of handheld operation and a traditional overhead shower experience. There’s an operational hatch in her cabin top window and sliding curtain for privacy.

Her head’s second door opens into the port aft cabin. Below this berth are the vessel’s HVAC equipment. This starboard aft cabin also has the VMAR control unit for the second pump/ zone fo the boat’s air conditioning.
