Sundog has a generous 19'5" beam. Here wide stance reduces hull wave interference and improves performance, creating extra stability able to handle more mainsail area.
Her design features fixed mini keels amidship giving excellent pointing ability, twin spade rudders, twin wheel helms with twin screws on her outboard motors.
Given the extra waterline length of the Seawind 37 she'll track better over the waves, with minimal hobby horse motion and little tendency to squat when under engine power.
The extra long transoms also make for great boarding from the dinghy of access from the swim ladder.

'Sundog' is an excellent live aboard catamaran for the tropics with tons of ventilation and an excellent entertainment platform! For the daytime party, a large open foredeck with bench seating and two trampolines allow for great relaxation and unique views under sail. When you need to cool down, a drop down swim stair allows easy access to the crystal clear waters of the Bahamas, the San Blas Islands of Panama, or the Australian Gold Coast. The large bimini and vinyl enclosure provides plenty of protection from the tropical sun, but if you want some shade in the water grab a pool noodle and spend some time hiding between the hulls under the bridgedeck. If you feel like inviting half the anchorage over for sundowners, rum punch and chilled beers are enjoyed with plenty of seating to view the green flash.
The systems on the boat are easy to maintain and, another great selling feature for novices like us, the Seawind 1000 sails well and is easily single-handed with a self-tacking jib and the running rigging lead back to the cockpit for safe sail handling. For the performance minded sailor, an owner that races a sister boat in Miami said that he regularly sails at, or near, wind speed in 10 to 15 knots. If you know how to sail it, this boat will fly!
Extensive galley gear, bedding, towels, spare parts, Toyota Sewing Machine and a coupla tools!
Fire Extinguishers: Three, mounted in cockpit & midships in each hull.
Seawind Catamarans are the "right size" to cruise and to live aboard, yet remain small enught for easy operation by shorthanded crew and for easy maintenance.
Featuring a large double berth to port, with head area and additional bunk.
To starboard is the well equipped galley, forward bunk, desk and additional berth/storage aft.
The open and airy bridgedeck cockpit has a U shaped wrap around seat, with table that can be converted to a large bed. Generous storage behind the forward seat backs and beneath the settees.
There are no below the waterline thru hulls on Sundog.
The maintenance and upkeep on Sundog is evident. The vessel has been continually maintanied and upgraded and it shows.
The bottom was sanded and primed in 12/19 with primer and 2 coats of Interlux Caribbean Blue paint.
Sundog has been cruised in the Caribbean since 2016 and is a proven passagemaker.
She'll take you just about anywhere you want to go in style and with a fast passage.
Caribe Dinghy L10 New January 2022 is not included.
