Broker comment

This vessel changed hands for a short time with plans for Cruising but because of Covid those plans fell through . While the current owners did the bottom correctly, (soda blasted and barrier coat) and repaired the rudder she sat idle; However the previous owners constantly maintained and updated  her.  Updates include a new cabin sole, counter tops, a US 120 volt electrical system, a new anchor and windlass, new AC units, new sails, and interior shades and screens, just to mention a few.  With a  fresh bottom paint and top side cleaning she will shine and take you on that well deserved journey for family cruising She is very comfortable at sea and sails well, even in light air. Her mast has been shortened 10” to enable intracoastal waterway travel.  She cruises at 7 knots, burning 1.5 gals per hour under power.  Her 6kw Panda Fisher generator is not only quiet but can operate her two air conditioning units with ease.  She has a three cabin, three head layout, a very large main saloon, a forward facing navigation station and a fully equipped galley.  She is easily handled by two people with her new Mack Pack main and roller furling genoa.

Theses older Beneteau boats are sought after due to the designer, Bruce Farr, locating the engine forward in the center of the boat over the keel, rather than more aft like the newer boats.  This more balanced design improves the sailing ability and sea kindly motion of the boat even in light air
