Godspeed's hull is laid woven roving fiberglass, biaxial and triaxial fiberglass in high-stress areas, with one-inch end grain balsa provides maximum strength. The balsa core also provided greater stiffness and considerably more thermal and acoustical insulation than a solid fiberglass hull. A foam stringer system running entirely around the hull is bonded to a massive steel grid system encapsulated in fiberglass. The grid system, in turn, transfers chain plate loads, with the use of stainless-steel tie rods, directly to the keel, thus forming one integral and extremely strong system.
The deck is hand-laid fiberglass with an end-grain balsa core for stiffness and thermal insulation. In high-stress areas and places for attaching winches, cleats. A plywood core is used. The deck is secured using thru-bolts and 3M 5200 adhesive/sealant.
The custom-designed modified winged keel is made of solid lead, maintaining a low center of gravity and providing greater performance while maintaining draft.
Spacious aft stateroom with ensuite bath with tub and centerline queen berth, forward berths also queen Pullman port and starboard with access to Forward head accessible from both cabins between the two is a sliding door to accommodate privacy . The cabin sole is padauk timber outlined with maple.
The ceilings (around fixed and opening ports) are rosewood.
